Santa Barbara’s Wine Country Half is really a local’s favorite. I love this course because it’s incredibly beautiful, is fairly flat, and there’s always a LOT of people you know out running. It really feels like a neighborhood celebration. It also happens to be the race that our first Running Program of the year is training for!
That’s right, our most love to hate class is BACK! It’s LOVED because people get so much better, faster, and stronger with their running, and are thrilled by their results; but most HATED because, well, apparently it takes a lot of willpower to wake up early to go running 2-3 times a week. Whether you’re training for the Wine Country Half, or just want regularly scheduled training to get you started on your running journey, this program will be a great match for you.
Classes will take place TUESDAY and THURSDAY at 6am starting March 1st and going through May 5th. Tuesdays we will do speed work at the SBCC Track, and Thursdays we will work on distance and will meet at various places around town. Price is $140 for Alaris Cohorts, and $200 for non Cohorts for the 10 week course. We will also coordinate a cheering squad for the Wine Country Half.
Register HERE – if you sign up before February 17th, you’ll receive 15% off of our regular rate!
